The Highland Den is part of Mondhuie Lodge - our family home - a Scandanavion style timber lodge situated in 15 acres of woodland on the edge of the Abernethy RSPB nature reserve near Loch Garten and the Speyside Way.


Guests have access to our grounds. A 10 minute drive will take you to Grantown on Spey, 20 minute drive will take you to Aviemore, 30 minutes to the Moray Coast.


There is an abundance of outdoor pursuits for all ages including cycling, skiing, hillwalking, golfing, fishing, bird/wildlife watching and water sports. We are also nearby the famous Speyside whisky trail.
